GST / Tax Formula Helper
Choose a GST or tax calculation and copy the Excel formula for invoice sheets, settlement reports, taxable value checks, and small business pricing.
Using GST formulas in Excel
GST calculations usually fail when the rate is entered inconsistently. In Excel, 18% and 0.18 are equivalent percentage values, but plain 18 is not the same. Keep rates in dedicated cells, format them as percentages, and reference those cells in invoice templates so formulas stay easy to audit.
